The Yellowstone (shown above, bottom right) is only created when we find a matching set of large burls for the base. These don't come along every day so those desiring The Yellowstone often have to be patient while Mother Nature helps us locate the materials!

Drawknife's billiard tables are all crafted with the same quality workmanship as our other products. Drawknife offers four distinct styles: The American Prairie Collection, The Mountain Modern Collection, The Gallatin Group and our original Yellowstone Collection. Whichever style you choose, you can add a variety of other game room tables and pieces to complement it.

Within the Yellowstone Collection, you will find several log table models, from the simple, clean design of the Targhee, to the one-of-a-kind Firehole, which is shown with unique burl accents. Some of these models can be built in your choice of wood character: Standard, using plain-peeled logs, Wilderness, using more distressed logs or Burl, built with the most unusual logs. Click on the table model you prefer to see the options available in that design.

The Yellowstone and Gallatin lines are constructed from Lodgpole pine while the American Prairie items are built from distressed Knotty Alder. The newer Mountain Modern pieces have been built using Knotty Alder, Walnut and reclaimed barnwood. All tables are available in a variety of stains to coordinate with other furniture in your home. We offer a range of colors from a clear finish up to darker colors such as walnut. Custom stains are also available for an upcharge.

Our billiard or pool tables are built in four lengths, 7', 8', Pro 8 and 9', all of which are built to meet the standards of the Billiard Congress of America. The 8' length is the most popular size for most residential game rooms. The Pro 8 and 9' sizes are often used for tournament play. We also build snooker tables.

Drawknife uses 1", three-piece, backed slate for a smooth, level playing surface and offer a variety of felt colors to complement our table designs. Purchasers may also select from three pocket styles, Fringed, Plain Shield or Faux Weave Shield, in three colors, Light, Medium or Chocolate Brown.

The Wilderness Madison, Bitterroot and Firehole game tables are shown with Drawknife Custom Pockets which were made especially for us, but unfortunately, are no longer available. Other custom pockets are available for an additional charge.

Choosing a Table Size

When considering the purchase of a billiard table, it is necessary to have a large enough room to allow for comfortable play. The chart below provides the suggested room sizes for the most common sizes of billiard tables using three commonly used cue lengths.

Generally, the most popular table is the 8' size and the standard cue length is 58".
